About

Welcome!

So this is where I tell you a little bit about myself:

So far, I’ve been writing, financing and directing my films on a part-time basis (read: at night). Writing and directing because I’m passionate about telling stories, financing because…well, because so far no one has given me a dime to tell these stories.

After 15 years of being a management consultant and 15 years of trying to figure out what that means, I decided to try and earn a living directing films. The best part is not having to wear a suit and tie to work each day. And most of the people I meet are MUCH more fun to hang out with.

So after having lived for 10 years in London, I moved back to Brussels in 2011 and set up LDV Production with a friend. We make corporate videos and things haven’t changed that much, I still ache to tell stories and spent my nights working on trying to make it happen.

For an overview of recent track record, you can check the blog section of this website.

Looking ahead, I currently have a slate of 3 feature films in the works; THE TRICK, a psychological thriller about a girl who mysteriously disappears after auditioning for a magician, PENUMBRA, a dark thriller about a couple who gets stuck in time on a small British Isle (think Groundhog Day meets Mute Witness if that helps…) and TAGINE EXPRESS, a romantic comedy set in Brussels and New York about a small time car mechanic who dreams of becoming a successful businessman.

I also enjoy traveling and taking pictures, hence my “Crossing the finish line” picture (Colca Canyon, Peru).

Thanks for your visit and drop me a line if you like some of the stuff you see here.
